Who am I? How do I love? What's my plot on Earth?
Here's a pair of copper bits to justify my worth:
.....
I'm a walker and a grokker.
I'm a fluent nonsense talker,
Whirling, twirling like a dirvish
Dizzy in the whirlwind's currents.
On the seas I'm cast adrift,
In the breeze I float and shift.
I'm a righty wielding pens,
Lefty when I'm dealing hands.
I can spot a graceful dove
Whisping in the clouds above,
And how the artist in me weeps
to see my craft performed at peak!
You see, my shape is how I roll,
Witness as I bare my soul.
If you really want the truth,
Let me break it down for you.
I've come to think that all of life
Is one long, bittersweet goodbye.
And thoughts, like pennies, came and went
Like just so many common cents.
.....
Who am I? How do I love? What's to be my plot?
These two copper bits aren't much, alas! They're all I've got.
